WINNER of 2022 PROVIDER OF THE YEAR:  JORDAN CODY, PT, DPT

Jordan Cody, PT, DPT is a special provider to me because she goes above and beyond for her team and her patients to ensure everyone's needs are met, but also to ensure her community provides the best services for her patients. Jordan strives to provide the most up-to-date evidenced based practices for her pediatric population, which includes becoming a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician, with additional training for children with Special Needs. Jordan Cody is one of 25 certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians, with Special Needs training, in the state of Oklahoma and the only one in Stephens County.

Moreover, Jordan participates in facilitating inservices for our local Pediatric Physicians on current practices for pediatric physical therapy, advocates for early referrals to PT, and is a part of the Safety/Injury Prevention committee for Pathways to a Healthier Living. The Safety/Injury Prevention Committee's mission is to improve the health of Oklahomans by working in collaboration with communities and stakeholders to identify injury problems, and then develop, implement, and evaluate environmental modifications, policy, and educational interventions, such as car seat safety events, community baby showers, etc. and in which Jordan has participated in the above mentioned events. Jordan attended the 2022 Children's Safety Challenge event in Edmond, OK, as a representative of the Pathways to a Healthier You, in order to gain knowledge of the event in hopes to establish a similar program and opportunity for the children of Stephens and Jefferson Counties and surrounding communities.
